The only man I envy is the man who has not yet been to Africa – for he has so much to look forward to.”
Richard Mullen
Crystal Creek Private Game reserve is nestled in the unique mountain valleys on the border of South Africa’s Limpopo and Mpumalanga provinces. With a change in altitude of over 600 meters (2,000 feet), Crystal Creek Private Game Reserve offers guests rich biodiversity of fauna and flora to experience and boasts 2,500 hectares of unspoilt open highveld grass plains, mountainous habitats, bushveld creeks and river ravines, making it the ideal environment for diverse game and bird species.
The Mantshibi Spring makes its way through the reserve and is joined by several other fresh water springs that are collected in the largest private dam (spanning 9 hectares) on the Mantshibi, which finally joins into the Ohrigstad River. Crystal Creek is a Malaria-free area and a mere 3,5 hours drive from O.R Tambo International Airport. You can also fly in via airplane or helicopter and we will collect you from the 1km private airstrip. The airfield is unmanned, and wild animals may roam freely on the runway.
At Crystal Creek we are well aware of the legacy bestowed upon us and thus our focus is on proper game management and the protection of our biodiversity as we aim to preserve the pristine beauty of nature for future generations. Travel to Africa and experience up close and personal wildlife encounters like no other, beautiful vistas and personal service at Crystal Creek Private Game Reserve.
